Genre Culture is a podcast by Matt Greco & Stephen DeRose. Every week, current genre TV shows and movies are discussed, but also nostalgic stories from their childhoods about the indelible effects genre entertainment has had on them. Sometimes it's about a neighbor with a homemade Darth Vader costume, sometimes it's about sleepovers, sometimes it's about babysitters straight out of the X-Files, sometimes it's about making a Michael Myers mask to defeat your fear of him. But it's always about horror, sci-fi, mystery, adventure, fantasy and all the other genres that thrilled us then and thrill us now.
